| This is documentation on the so-called referendum vote of November 8, 1910, which
reorganized the Judical system in Oregon, taking the authority for the Judical system from
the Judicial Branch and moving it to the Legislative Branch. This act did two main things;
first, it destroyed the balance of powers in Oregon, and it brought all the Courts except
the Supreme Court under the Legislative Branch. By doing this, the Original Article VII of
the Constitution for Oregon was supplanted by Article VII amended, and the Courts
possessing judicial powers ceased to exist, rather being changed to Administrative Units
possessing no judical, but only administrative powers. The statement above is a
generalization. This article will be fleshed out with explicit proof.
